Alexandria Soccer Association (ASA) joins local organizations to sponsor a free, region wide tournament on Saturday, June 17th. Players, both boys and girls, ages 11-14 from around the Washington DC, metropolitan area are invited to register.

The tournament will be held from 9am to 5pm at George Washington Middle School field, located behind the school at 1005 Mount Vernon Ave. Teams will be made up of 10 players and all participants will receive lunch and a t-shirt. Trophies will be awarded to winning teams and the tournament champion will be awarded DC United tickets for a home game.

ASA is committed to supporting the Alexandria community and providing soccer opportunities to kids of all ages. On June 17th we are proud to come together with other organizations to celebrate soccer and sportsmanship at such a great event. Along with soccer, the day will include contests, raffles, food, trophies and more.

The tournament is sponsored by the Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities, Alexandria Police Department, Alexandria Sheriff’s Office, Alexandria Gang Prevention Community Task Force, Metropolitan Police Department (Washington, D.C.), D.C.
