On Saturday, June 2nd the Alexandria Soccer Association’s U16/U18 Boys had a very special opportunity to participate in a training session led by U17 US Youth Men’s National Team Coach, Clint Peay.  Tony Meola, former U.S. World Cup and MLS goalkeeper, was also on hand to meet and speak with the boys.  The event was brought to ASA by All-State as part of a grassroots marketing campaign leading up to the US v Germany game that was held at RFK Stadium.  The event was hosted at Alexandria’s own Witter Turf Field.

In addition to participating in the training session all the boys received a soccer bag full of gear.  On top of that each player received a ticket to attend the US v Germany match on Sunday.  It was a special weekend for all of the boys who got a chance to participate and will be something that they will remember for a long time.  Thank you to all those involed to make this event a success!  Take a look below for pictures from the event at Witter Field.
