Ball Mastery Classes 3rd - 6th Grade

Ball Mastery Classes 3rd - 6th grade

What is Ball Mastery?

ASA professional coaches focus on proper techniques surrounding dribbling and ball control, passing and receiving, technical games and individual creativity. Players are strongly encouraged to participate in the Recreational League while using Ball Mastery to supplement their team's practice to get more touches on the ball, get to know new kids, play with other players and work with ASA staff coaches.

The 6-week program offered each fall and spring will consist of technical training sessions and small-sided games.

  • Technical training: Coaches will run age-appropriate training sessions
  • Small-sided soccer games: players will finish each session by dividing into teams to play small sided soccer games with individual and team focuses

Coaches:

We are proud to have many of our Junior Academy and Academy coaches working with your kids and providing a high quality and fun learning soccer environment.

Registration

Ball Mastery sessions are offered in the fall and spring of each year (coinciding with the Rec soccer seasons).

Hour-long training sessions will take place once a week for six weeks (for the pre-season ball mastery session the schedule is five training sessions over three weeks). It is highly recommended that kids in the ball mastery program also play on a Recreational Soccer team to continue building skills and gaining game experience. The Ball Mastery practice should not interfere with a player’s weekly Rec team practice.
