What To Expect
Regular functional training is critical to the development of aspiring goalkeepers (Boys and Girls ages U10-U18). The sessions will cover the technical aspects of catching, deflecting, low and high ball diving, dealing with crosses, breakaways and through balls and distribution. Each practice will include footwork, core strength, explosiveness and agility. Leadership, tactics, reading the game and positioning will also be addressed during this 7-week session. Each goalkeeper is expected to wear a long-sleeve training shirt and gloves, and bring a ball and water.
Team GKs train 1x/week during regular Fall and Spring seasons.
