Below is the basic information regarding the travel team tryout process for the 2012/2013 Alexandria Soccer Association travel teams. Please take a few moments to review this material.

TRYOUT INFORMATION

Remember the soccer “year” runs from August 1 to July 31.

For the Fall 2012/Spring 2013 travel seasons:

U9 players are born on or after August 1, 2003 and before July 31, 2004;
U10 players are born on or after August 1, 2002 and before July 31, 2003;
U11 players are born on or after AUG 1, 2001 and before JULY 31, 2002;
U12 players are born on or after AUG 1, 2000 and before JULY 31, 2001  
U13 players are born on or after AUG 1, 1999 and before JULY 31, 2000  
U14 players are born on or after AUG 1, 1998 and before JULY 31, 1999  
U15 players are born on or after AUG 1, 1997 and before JULY 31, 1998 
U16 players are born on or after AUG 1, 1996 and before JULY 31, 1997 
U17 players are born on or after AUG 1, 1995 and before JULY 31, 1996 
U18 players are born on or after AUG 1, 1994 and before JULY 31, 1995 

Players who are interested in “playing up” must have express permission from the ASA technical staff and comply with any/all league rules.

Tryouts will be held as follows:

Rising U9s: Boys/Girls on May 15, 16, 17 and 21st* at Simpson Fields.

U9 girls from 4:30-6:00pm and U9 boys from 6:15-7:45pm.

Rising U10s: Boys/Girls on May 22, 23, 24, and 25th* at Simpson Fields.

U10 girls from 4:30-6:00pm and U10 boys from 6:15-7:45pm.

Rising U11s: Boys/Girls on May 29, 31, June 4th, and June 5th* at Simpson Fields.

Girls are from 4:30-6:00pm. Boys are from 5:00- 6:30pm

Rising U12s: Boys/Girls on May 29, 31, June 4th, and June 5th* at Simpson Fields.

Both U12 Boys and Girls from 6:30-8:00pm.

Rising U13s: Girls on May 30, June 1, June 6, June 8 at Fort Ward from 5:30 - 7:00pm

                       Boys June 6th, 11th, and 13th at Ben Brenman from 5:30-7:00pm

Rising U14s:  Girls June 5th, 7th, and 12th (13th* and 14th* rain dates) at Fort Ward from 5:30-7:00pm.

Boys on June 17th at Fort Ward from 5:00pm-6:00pm

Rising U15s: Boys on May 21st and 23rd from 7:00-8:30pm at Ben Brenman

Rising U16s: Boys on June 12, 14, and 19th at Fort Ward from 7:00-8:30pm. June 16th 10am-Noon at Brenman

Girls on June 4 (7-8:30pm), June 7 (8:15-9:30pm), and June 11 (7-8:30pm) at Fort Ward

Rising U17s: Girls on June 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th from 7:00- 8:30pm at Fort Ward

Boys May 29th (Ft. Ward), 30th (Ben Brenman), 5th (Ft. Ward), and 6th (Ben Brenman) from 7:00-8:30pm

Rising U18s: Girls on June 6, 7, 13, and 14th at Fort Ward from 7:00-8:30pm

Boys on June 12th, June 14th, June 15th at Fort Ward from 8:30-10:00pm

* If necessary

NOTE: Players should attend at least 2 tryouts dates to be considered for selection.
